Just stumbled onto your blog for the first time in years and years...I've always loved the way you write. And Rhiannon Giddens, the lead singer of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, is a graduate of NCSSM, '95. She lived on 2nd Hill East when I lived on 2nd Hill North, and she sang CONSTANTLY. It was awesome.
